For
two weeks leading up to the proposal, Brian talked
incessently about a craving he had for Gladstone's
clam chowder. It was all part of his plan to get
Amber to Malibu for a walk on the beach. On September
8th, 2005, they had the world famous clam chowder
out on the deck of the restaurant while the sun
set. Brian asked Amber to take a walk on the beach
before heading back home. They walked for awhile
without saying much until Brian worked up the
nerve to get down on one knee and propose. After
a big YES, he told her that he had another surprise
for her. He had booked a suite in a hotel in nearby
Santa Monica, and they arrived to a bottle of
champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and
flowers. They haven't stopped celebrating since. |
